An exciting apprenticeship opportunity is available in a vibrant industry in the north east, the apprentice will gain experience in multiple areas of a local business. What will the apprentice be doing?
On a typical day you will work with our Sales team and provide admin support on product pricing, and support data control and management of the sales enquiries and orders on our ERP system.
Other tasks could include:
- Assisting with the preparation of technical drawings, and assessment of enquiries including initial communication with Customers.
- General purchasing support for example raising purchase orders.
- Basic admin duties including aswering telephone and other reception duties when required.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will work towards the Business Administration level 3 qualification (advanced).
The training includes a 1 day release each week attending college with the tutor, alongside regular visits/review with employer and all parties to ensure progression and development is met.
The employer will will provide in-house support with a dedicated mentor. The apprentice will gain solid experience and internal training, working with various departments and conducting different roles and tasks.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
NOC expect the apprentice to gain full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
NOC will provide you with the opportunity to develop and grow, and the opportunity to consider multiple career routes and progression possibilities. This could include Sales Administration, Purchasing Administration or General Administration roles.
Mentoring and coaching is provided throughout your apprenticeship and moving forward in your career if required or desired.
