Now in their 19th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices, apprenticeship champions and apprenticeship employers.
NEAAN was delighted that so many of the regional winners came from our Ambassadors, with Apprentice Ambassador Chair, Natasha Scorer scooping the prestigious Mike Wade Award 2022, as well as being named Apprenticeship Champion of the Year 2022.
Presenting the awards, NEAAN Co-Chairs, Jenienne Hinchcliffe and Prof Ian Green were blown away by the standard of this year’s winners.
“This event is so important for recognising those blazing a trail in apprenticeship provision and our region’s superstar apprentices,” said Jenienne. “We were delighted to see so many Ambassadors represented in the room and overjoyed to see so many winners.”
Ian added: “When you see the talent, enthusiasm and passion for apprenticeships in that room, you know the future of North East industry is in safe hands.”
